Arrived quickly, but I don’t think this is actually silk. I believe these are rayon or something else synthetic. There is a definite, somewhat scratchy back side to the fabric. Also it feels different and less soft when compared to several other silk items that I have - some silk pillowcases and a silk shirt, including another brand new, never washed silk pillowcase I just bought from a brick and mortar retailer. These shorts are not nearly as soft or smooth and not at all “buttery.”
